Lenovo Yoga 2 11
The Lenovo Yoga 2 11 is a 2-in-1 laptop. It is powered by an Intel Pentium N3520 processor (formerly "Bay Trail").
The Lenovo Yoga 2 11s, while similar in name, is a completely different laptop. It is a smaller version of the Yoga 2 13, powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core processor (formerly "Haswell"). Aside from different BIOS download pages, please use the Yoga 2 13 page for now until we can create a second page for it.
Console OS Developer Release 1 will run on the Yoga 2 11. However, Wi-Fi is having issues currently. These issues are specific to the device. We expect to fix them during the Marshmallow release cycle.
These issues do not affect the Intel Core version of the Yoga 2 - which does work fine with Console OS Lollipop today.
You must be running the latest BIOS from Lenovo.com before installing Console OS. We only test and validate Console OS using the latest system BIOS available, and BIOS updates are critical to the performance-tuning of Console OS and the underlying UEFI firmware.
Before installing, fully read the Release Notes - Including creating a Windows Recovery Drive, and disabling Secure Boot, as well as creating a Console OS Install Flash Drive.
To install Console OS, rapidly press the F12 key when booting the machine. Make sure a USB keyboard is connected (per the notes above) Make sure the Console OS Install Flash Drive that you built per the Release Notes is inserted prior to powering the machine up.
If the Console OS Install Flash Drive does not show up in the F12 boot menu, this is typically due to the machine not waiting long enough for your USB flash drive to enumerate. To work around this, press Control-Alt-Delete and try again. Do not cold boot the machine in this situation.
