Device Description

The Gigabyte BRIX is a family of small form-factor desktop PCs. There have been multiple generations, with third, and fourth-generation Intel Core processors. Some BRIX models alternatively include AMD processors.

Note: For the Gigabyte BRIX Pro family, please see the Gigabyte BRIX Pro page. For the Gigabyte BRIX s line, please see Gigabyte BRIX s page.

Support Status

Most BRIX models can run Console OS. Audio output over HDMI may not work currently.

While most models will work, we do not support BRIX models that feature Celeron processors, nor do we currently support models with NVIDIA GPUs. We are working on a solution to support models with NVIDIA graphics in the near future.

All BRIX systems with an AMD processor are not supported at this time.

All BRIX models must be paired with an Intel 3160 or 7260 Wi-Fi card to work with Console OS properly, using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Upgrading to an Intel 7260-AC Wi-Fi card will future proof, and typically improve the performance and reception of your BRIX system. Today it's both affordable and easy to do.

Installation Instructions

You must be running the latest BIOS from Gigabyte. We only test and support systems when running the latest BIOS from the manufacturer.
