==Device Description==

The Lenovo Yoga 2 13 is a 2-in-1 laptop. It is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core processor (formerly "Haswell").

==Support Status==

Console OS Developer Release 1 is supported on the Lenovo Yoga 2 13.

Most Yoga 2 13 models are sold with an Intel 7260-AC Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card, which we support in DR1. However, some lower-end units were sold with Wi-Fi cards from Realtek, Broadcomm, and Atheros.

Normally, we encourage users to upgrade their cards to Intel Wi-Fi, which usually costs as little as $15 and takes on 15 minutes.

Unfortunately, Lenovo modifies their systems to prohibit using a Wi-Fi card that is not sold by Lenovo. This makes obtaining a compatible Intel 7260 card considerably more expensive.

If your Yoga 2 13 came with a card other than the Intel 7260, you may want to contact Lenovo Parts to determine the current cost to upgrade. Alternatively, you can temporarily use an [http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Multi-Mode-Pocket-Router-WL-330NUL/dp/B00CWIRMRCASUS WL-330NUL] USB 802.11n Wi-Fi card while we expand Wi-Fi support.

It is our intention to greatly expand the number of Wi-Fi cards supported by Console OS, as we transition to Android 5.0, Lollipop.

==Installation Instructions==

You must be running the latest BIOS from Lenovo.com before installing Console OS. We only test and validate Console OS using the latest system BIOS available, and BIOS updates are critical to the performance-tuning of Console OS and the underlying UEFI firmware.

Before installing, fully read the [[Release Notes]] - Including creating a Windows Recovery Drive, and disabling Secure Boot, as well as creating a Console OS Install Flash Drive.

To install Console OS, rapidly press the F12 key when booting the machine. Make sure a USB keyboard is connected (''per the notes above'') Make sure the Console OS Install Flash Drive that you built per the [[Release Notes]] is inserted prior to powering the machine up.
